The currency used on the network is Tronix, or TRX. Users of the network use TRX to directly pay the content creators to access their applications. The TRON network actually features a number of cryptocurrencies, including BitTorrent Token (BTT), JST, and a TRC-20 based version of the Tether (USDT) stablecoin. TRON has outlined a set of Dapps that work with these tokens, and with BTT at least, that includes BitTorrent Speed, BitTorrent File System, and DLive.

What is Tron 20 token?

The Tron 20 Token will hold value and allow individual content owners to make custom tokens on the platform, similar to the cryptocurrency Waves. It should be noted that the TRON 20 Token is not the same as Tronix, which is the medium of exchange on the platform.
